1. Description of Service

PromptIt is a web application that transforms plain-language prompts into structured, high-quality prompts using artificial intelligence. The service is accessible at promptitin.com and includes a prompt library, user profile, and optional paid subscription tiers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to use PromptIt. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorised use, notify us immediately at security@promptitin.com.

If you are using PromptIt on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 Permitted use

You may use PromptIt to enhance prompts for personal, academic, or commercial purposes. Enhanced prompts generated through the service are yours to use in any AI tool or application. You may share enhanced prompts with colleagues, clients, or the public without restriction.

3.2 Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service using automated means.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying system prompts of PromptIt.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service or its outputs as a competing prompt-engineering product.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls by any technical means.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The PromptIt application, its design, branding, and proprietary system prompts are owned by PromptITIN and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of PromptIt's intellectual property to you.

You retain ownership of the raw prompts you submit. You also own the enhanced prompts returned to you. By submitting content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store it for the purpose of providing the service.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

PromptIt offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro, God Mode, Lifetime). Paid subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no refund is issued for unused time except as stated below.
• Refunds. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase of a monthly or annual plan. Lifetime plans are refundable within 14 days of purchase. After these windows, all sales are final.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Taxes. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes imposed on your purchase.

6. AI-Generated Content

PromptIt uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate enhanced prompts. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific context. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding how to use any AI-generated output. We make no warranty that enhanced prompts will achieve any particular result when used with third-party AI tools.

You must not submit prompts that contain personal data of third parties, confidential business information, or content that you do not have the right to share.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PromptITIN and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PromptITIN from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed by contacting us at legal@promptitin.com so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot reach a resolution within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service.
